PRESS RELEASES
Ellenville-based newspaper the Shawangunk Journal has published story updates of the “Ellenville Garden Village” project during 2015. Correspondent Lisa Carroll will continue to work with John Clark as the project develops in 2016 and beyond.
Given the success of the 2015 garden at Praise Dominion, Ellenville, John is preparing the first press release for the attention of five Hudson Valley regional newspapers: Albany Times Union, Kingston Daily Freeman, Poughkeepsie Journal, Register Star, and Times Herald Record.
John is working with Cornell University Cooperative Extension, Kingston, in an effort to circulate press releases, with the aim of making the “Ellenville Garden Village” project widely known both to the general public and to prospective partners and supporters.
In a press release for state-wide newspaper circulation (New York Daily News, New York Observer, New York Post, New York Times, Newsday, and Village Voice), John will summarize both the inaugural year of the “Ellenville Garden Village” project and a project vision. If the story is well-received, John will issue a national press release.
RADIO INTERVIEWS
Fellow Englishman Alan Buckler has twice interviewed John in 2015 for Ellenville-based WELV Radio, with regard to the “Ellenville Garden Village” project and the re-launching of Ellenville Farmers’ Market. WELV Radio has invited John for interview in early 2016 to review project developments as an ongoing local-interest series.
TELEVISION
In order to promote the project by showcasing the garden at Praise Dominion, Ellenville, John is in contact with regional and state-wide television news channels.
